Magnetic Resonance Imaging
MRI scanners are particularly suitable for image of the body's non-bony parts or soft tissues. It is different from CT, because it does not use ionizing radiation which is harmful. MRI shows the brain, spinal cord and nerves as well as muscles, ligaments, and tendons much more clearly than standard x-rays and CT. MRI can distinguish between white matter and grey matter in the brain, and can also be used to diagnose aneurysms and tumors. When frequent imaging is needed, particularly within the brain, it is the imaging modality of choice. Our open MRI is designed to be spacious to allow patients a comfortable and relaxed experience, particularly for claustrophobic patients. We offer all kinds of MRI scans including MRA’s of the brain.
